Having difficult conversations isn’t fun for anyone. Telling someone they don’t smell nice, saying no to a client, or having to tell someone they no longer have a job is something that no one looks forward to doing. We feel anxious and uncomfortable.

Yet, our roles often demand that we know how, and are willing to have those difficult conversations. We need to be effective and build trust and respect, without damaging relationships along the way.

This webinar will show you what you need to know to have difficult conversations. They won’t be fun, but they will be done and done professionally and respectfully.

Here’s What You Will Learn:

  • Identifying your strengths and weaknesses prior to your difficult conversation
  • Understanding perception and how it affects the conversation
  • 10 tips for handling difficult conversations
  • Giving negative feedback
  • Handling your emotions (and the emotions of the other person)
  • A step-by-step model to follow to make it easy

HOW WEBINARS WORK

Not sure what a webinar or virtual meeting is? It is as easy as 1-2-3

  1. Register online, then put the date in your daytimer to remind yourself
  2. On date of the webinar, 3 minutes prior to the workshop time, dial the toll free access number that Rhonda will send you.
  3. On your computer, access the website address that will be sent as well. You will see the PowerPoint presentation, and you will hear Rhonda speaking to the live audience.
  4. The telephone and website will be running live – so you can see Rhonda go through the virtual meeting, as if you were in the training room watching live.
  5. Questions can be asked via telephone, or via the computer (typed in). During the session Rhonda will explain how it all works so you won’t be concerned.
  6. After the session, you will receive a link where you can watch and listen again as often as you like for 60 days (you can share it with as many people as you like as well).
